What it finds

The things that quietly fill up your library

Each kind gets its own list, with the space it takes. Open one, look through it, and keep what you love.

  • Duplicates

    Exact copies of the same photo, saved more than once.

  • Similar photos

    Shots taken seconds apart. You pick the keeper.

  • Screenshots

    Ones older than 30 days are suggested.

  • Screen recordings

    Recordings of your screen, which are often large.

  • Large videos

    Videos over 100 MB, biggest first.

  • Burst extras

    The frames from a burst that you didn't keep.

  • Blurry photos

    Shots that came out soft, shaky or out of focus.

  • Can't be opened

    Thumbnails left behind after another app moved the photo or video off your iPhone.

  • Live Photos

    Keep them as still photos and save the space the video part takes.

  • Duplicate contacts

    Contacts saved twice, merged on your iPhone. A copy is kept so you can put them back.

Plus Storage tips. Honest guidance for the space only iOS can clear: offloading apps you don't use, Messages attachments, Safari website data and Recently Deleted. The app doesn't claim to clear caches or system files, because iOS doesn't let any app do that.

Privacy

Your photos stay on your iPhone

Every check runs on your iPhone. Your photos, thumbnails, scan results and contacts never leave it.

Read the privacy policy

  • No account needed. Open the app and scan.
  • No analytics, no ads, no tracking. And no third-party code inside the app.
  • Apple handles payments. The app is only told whether Pro is active.
  • Backup only if you turn it on. If you have a Vault Photos account, you can choose to upload photos there before they're deleted. It's off unless you switch it on.

How it works

Nothing goes until you say so

  1. Scan for free

    The app looks through your library on your iPhone and shows what it found, with the space each kind takes.

  2. Choose

    Look through each group side by side. The best shot is marked to keep, and a tap swaps it.

  3. Delete

    When you're ready, iOS asks you to confirm before anything is deleted.

  4. Recently Deleted keeps them 30 days

    Changed your mind? Deleted items wait in Recently Deleted in Photos for 30 days. Your iPhone frees the space once they're removed from there.
